Membership Committee
The Membership Committee is responsible for developing and implementing
membership recruitment and retention plans. The Membership Committee
also clarifies member needs through membership surveys as needed.
The Membership committee updates the membership brochure and
promotes Critical Care Transport Nurses Day. Finally, the Membership
Committee serves as a resource for Chapter Development activities. |

Education Committee
The ASTNA Education Committee works on behalf of the entire membership
base of ASTNA, to provide, and coordinate educational opportunities.
These educational opportunities are provided to all members,
both air and surface. Recognizing that education of transport
nursing professionals is of paramount importance, the education
committee works diligently to provide diverse learning opportunities,
for a diverse group of nursing professionals. |

Military Committee
The ATSNA Military Committee represents ASTNA members and the Board
of Directors in all realms of military flight and surface, promoting
the ASTNA organization among military nurses, identifying issues
affecting military nurses, recommending to the ASTNA organization
how these issues be addressed, and serving as the ASTNA membership
voice to other military committees and organizations. The ASTNA
Military Committee provides networking opportunities between
civilian and military nurses, is responsible for recruitment
and retention of members to the group, identifying research
prospects pertaining to military transport professionals, promoting
professional education of military transport nurses, and imparts
a communication network for group members. |
